The British Shorthair is known for a teddy bear look, dense plush coat, and a calm, affectionate temperament. This breed thrives as an indoor cat with low-to-moderate energy, bonding deeply yet respecting your space. British Longhair shares the same sturdy build and personality but wears a flowing, semi-long coat with extra fluff around the ruff and tail. Both suit families, singles, and retirees who want a quiet, easygoing companion.
Round face, chubby cheeks, big eyes, and that iconic plush coat – British cats look like storybook companions. Eye color varies by coat (copper/amber for many solids, green for silvers/goldens, blue for colorpoints).
Available and requested colors often include:
Looking for a steady friend rather than a constant shadow? British cats deliver. They’re affectionate without being clingy, gentle with kids, and typically tolerant of cat-savvy dogs. Because they’re calm and quiet, they settle well in apartments and homes alike. Socialization starts early, so your kitten arrives confident, litter trained, and ready to join the household routine.
Feed quality to see quality. We recommend a balanced premium diet – primarily wet food for hydration and a measured portion of high-quality dry for dental texture. Transition gradually using the food list we provide.

It is generally considered safe to spay kittens before they are fully grown. In fact, many veterinarians recommend spaying or neutering kittens as early as 8-16 weeks old. This is known as early-age spay/neuter or pediatric spay/neuter.
Early spaying has several benefits:
However, it is important to consult with a veterinarian to determine the best time to spay a kitten based on it individual health, breed, and circumstances. We will definitely do this if the age and health conditions of a kitten allow occurring the surgery before being shipped. We will not neuter/spay the kitten in the cases if a buyer will ask to neuter a kitten on its own or will buy the breeding rights for an additional cost with the kitten)
