Known as the “teddy bear” of the cat world, the British Shorthair carries a calm, affectionate temperament with low-to-moderate energy. They suit apartment living as indoor cats yet enjoy playtime and quiet enrichment. British Longhair kittens share the same temperament, just with a flowing, semi-long coat that asks for a bit more grooming.
Families love their predictable nature, sturdy build, and steady routines. Most kittens go home at 12-14 weeks – this window supports socialization, vaccinations, and a smoother adjustment to a new home.
That signature look starts with a round face, chubby cheeks, and a dense plush coat. Eye color varies by coat: classic copper or amber in blues, and blue or green in some silvers and colorpoints. You’ll find a wide palette:

It is generally considered safe to spay kittens before they are fully grown. In fact, many veterinarians recommend spaying or neutering kittens as early as 8-16 weeks old. This is known as early-age spay/neuter or pediatric spay/neuter.
Early spaying has several benefits:
However, it is important to consult with a veterinarian to determine the best time to spay a kitten based on it individual health, breed, and circumstances. We will definitely do this if the age and health conditions of a kitten allow occurring the surgery before being shipped. We will not neuter/spay the kitten in the cases if a buyer will ask to neuter a kitten on its own or will buy the breeding rights for an additional cost with the kitten)
