Excellent service from start to finish. Managers are always in touch. Even after the end of the transaction, they are interested in the fate of the kitten. Our baby was handed over to us full, clean and cheerful. We are happy with the new member of our family and just in love with him. P.S. The first photo is our first meeting. The second and third photos are 2.5 years later.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Meowoff Kittens! From the very first interaction, their professionalism and genuine love for their cats shone through. The entire adoption process was smooth, transparent, and filled with care. Yoshi arrived healthy, happy, and full of personality. You can tell he was raised with love and attention — the socialization, playfulness, and gentle nature of Yoshi speaks volumes about the quality of care he received. The team at Meowoff was always available to answer my questions, provide updates, and make sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. They truly go above and beyond to ensure each kitten is placed in a loving home. If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-cared-for, and affectionate kitten, Meowoff is the gold standard. We got our cutie Loki last month. We had unfortunate situations with our first two picks with our first pick the breeder didn’t want to sell anymore and our second pick unfortunately passing away. Although our hopes were a little deflated the crew at Meowoff didn’t let us down. Camille the front desk manager was always so amazing. She always answered all of my questions and concerns and if my call was missed they always got back to me in a timely manner. I will definitely buy from them again when I am ready for another cat. We absolutely love Loki so much. I’ve also never seen a cat not scared of a vacuum, but he likes to chill next to it

What can I say about MeoWoof that can describe how wonderfully happy we are with them? We’ve purchased seven Main Coons from MeoWoof! That alone should tell you how fantastic they are. Every one of our fur babies have come to us healthy and bright eyed, not one problem with any of them. Simply put, MeoWoof is the best.

Why Choose Meowoff for Your British Kitten?

Choose a cattery that pairs beauty with ethics and service with science. We partner with WCF-registered European catteries known for sound type and temperament, then deliver a white-glove experience from first call to first cuddle.

  • Champion bloodlines, thoughtfully matched: Our network selects pedigreed British kittens with the classic teddy-bear look – dense plush coats, round faces, and calm, affectionate temperaments.
  • Verified health and documentation: Expect a vet-certified health check, official documentation “with papers,” and a pet/vet passport outlining every vaccine and treatment completed to date.
  • Real health standards, not promises: Kittens receive age-appropriate FVRCP vaccines, deworming, and parasite prevention. FeLV/FIV testing is available, and on request we can add breed-relevant screens like PKD (DNA) and HCM (echo) for deeper peace of mind.
  • 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee: We stand behind your kitten’s genetic soundness and provide clear, written terms.
  • Tailored options on request: Need a microchip, extra viral panels, or a specific color evaluation? Ask. We build the plan that fits your family.
  • Seamless logistics: Pick up in Tennessee or choose delivery; we arrange flight nanny or air cargo nationwide and coordinate ground courier when needed.
  • Lifetime-style support: We’re here seven days a week with 24/7 post-adoption care, plus assistance with spay/neuter and transition guidance. Message us any time – small questions often matter most in those first weeks.

Worried about scams? Do this to stay safe:

  • Ask for live video of the kitten with a current date and a unique phrase you provide.
  • Request vet records and a sample contract before sending a non-refundable deposit.
  • Verify the cattery’s presence across channels (website, phone, Google profile, social) and consistency of photos/names.
  • Pay with traceable methods; avoid wire-only demands.

Ethical breeder, transparent process, healthy kittens – choose Meowoff to avoid regrets and bring home a companion you can trust.

About the Breed: The Gentle British Shorthair

The British Shorthair pairs a teddy-bear look with a calm, affectionate presence. These indoor cats carry low-to-moderate energy, enjoy quiet company, and bond deeply without constant demands. They adapt well to apartments and homes alike, preferring routine and soft places to nap.

British Longhair kittens share the same personality but wear a fuller coat; grooming needs increase slightly, while temperament remains equally steady. Both variants are known for round heads, chubby cheeks, and solid, muscular bodies that mature slowly, often reaching full size at 3-5 years.

Appearance: Colors & Coats

British cats win hearts with a dense plush coat, rounded face, and wide-set eyes that glow in shades of copper, amber, blue, or green depending on color.

Popular colors and patterns we see often:

  • Solids: blue, lilac, cream, chocolate, cinnamon, black, white
  • Patterns: bicolor, classic/mackerel tabby, tortie, colorpoint
  • Shaded: silver shaded and golden shaded (chinchilla/tipped) with sparkling or warm halos

Have a specific look in mind – blue British Shorthair, lilac female, or a golden shaded beauty? Share your preference, and we’ll guide availability and pricing.

Temperament & Personality: Your Perfect Companion

Looking for a cat that relaxes into the rhythm of your home? British kittens bring serenity. They’re typically:

  • Calm and affectionate without being clingy.
  • Quiet companions that greet you at the door, then curl up nearby.
  • Great with respectful kids and friendly dogs due to their steady nature.
  • Ideal indoor cats that enjoy window-watching, gentle play, and cozy routines.

Tell us about your household – kids, dogs, work-from-home schedule – and we’ll match a temperament that fits.

Diet, Grooming & Health: A Lifetime of Wellness

  • Nutrition: Feed a high-quality diet with a wet/dry balance to support hydration and weight control. We provide food recommendations and a transition plan to prevent tummy upsets.
  • Grooming: Use a soft grooming brush once or twice a week for British Shorthairs, and more frequently for British Longhairs. Add nail trims, ear checks, and dental care to your monthly routine.
  • Litter and enrichment: We send kittens home litter trained. Offer a sturdy scratching post, a comfy bed, and a few puzzle toys to enrich their low-to-moderate energy lifestyle.
  • Vet care and testing: Expect FVRCP vaccines on schedule, deworming, and a pre-travel vet wellness exam with a health certificate. Upon request, add PKD (DNA) and HCM (echo) screening. FeLV/FIV testing is available, and we can discuss rabies timing with your veterinarian based on state and age.
  • Long-term outlook: British Shorthairs grow into solid, medium-to-large cats and often live 12-18 years with proper care. Keep them indoors, schedule routine checkups, and maintain a stable feeding plan to support longevity.

Frequently Asked Questions about Our Tennessee Kittens

British Shorthairs are calm, affectionate, and quietly social. They do well with respectful children and cat-savvy dogs because their energy is steady rather than reactive. Set routines, supervise introductions, and give them a quiet retreat; they’ll settle in beautifully.
Most pet-only British Shorthair kittens in Tennessee range from $2,000 to $3,500+, with rare colors like golden shaded or show-quality evaluations pricing higher. Delivery and add-on testing can affect the final cost. Ask for our current availability and pricing sheet.
Kittens go home at 12-14 weeks to complete weaning, early socialization, and initial vaccines, and to pass a vet wellness exam. Waiting this window produces more confident, adaptable companions.
No breed is truly hypoallergenic. Many allergy-sensitive families manage well with British Shorthairs due to their low-to-moderate shedding and predictable grooming needs. Meet-and-greet or fabric exposure tests can help you gauge your reaction.
Look for a vaccinations schedule (FVRCP), deworming, a vet wellness exam, and a health certificate. FeLV/FIV testing adds confidence, while breed-relevant screens like PKD (DNA) and HCM (echo) further reduce risk. We provide core care by default and can add tests on request.
You receive official documentation “with papers,” a pet/vet passport with complete medical records, and a signed contract with our 1-year genetic health guarantee. Health certificates are included for travel. Ask about microchipping as an add-on.
Same calm temperament, different coat. British Longhairs have a fuller, flowing coat and need more frequent brushing; British Shorthairs keep a dense plush coat that’s easier to maintain.
Blue and lilac lead demand, while silver and golden shaded lines often price higher due to rarity and the selective breeding they require. Show-quality evaluations also influence pricing.
Apply, get approved, and place a non-refundable deposit to hold a kitten or reserve your place on the waitlist. You’ll review a contract that covers health guarantee terms, a spay/neuter agreement for pet-only placements, and pickup/delivery logistics.
Clear coverage for genetic conditions for a specified term (ours is 1 year), buyer responsibilities for routine care, the process for claims with veterinary documentation, and rehoming or replacement terms where applicable.
Yes. Choose a flight nanny for hand-carry service, air cargo to major airports, or a trusted ground courier. We arrange logistics to Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, Chattanooga, and beyond.
Request live video with a unique phrase, ask for vet records and a sample contract, verify the cattery across platforms, and use traceable payments. We welcome verification calls and provide documentation before deposit.
A secure carrier, two bowls, a high-sided litter box with clumping litter, a soft grooming brush, nail trimmers, a sturdy scratching post, a cozy bed, and the same food we’ve been feeding to ease the transition.
They’re medium-to-large, muscular cats that mature slowly, often reaching full size at 3-5 years. Many live 12-18 years with balanced nutrition, regular vet care, and an indoor lifestyle.
Brush British Shorthairs weekly; British Longhairs benefit from 2-3 short sessions per week. Add routine nail trims, ear checks, and dental care. We’ll show you a quick routine you can keep up in minutes.
CFA and TICA are major North American registries; WCF is widely used in Europe. All maintain pedigree standards and registration systems. We partner with WCF-registered European catteries and provide official documentation; if you have a registry preference, tell us and we’ll advise on options.

The price for cats is the total one and includes all vaccinations and neutering/spaying. (Neutering a kitten is our free option with no fee.)

It is generally considered safe to spay kittens before they are fully grown. In fact, many veterinarians recommend spaying or neutering kittens as early as 8-16 weeks old. This is known as early-age spay/neuter or pediatric spay/neuter.

Early spaying has several benefits:

  • Reduced risk of certain health issues: Spaying\Neutering a kitten before it first heat cycle can significantly reduce the risk of mammary cancer and eliminates the risk of uterine infections and other reproductive system diseases.
  • Easier recovery: Younger kittens tend to recover faster from surgery with fewer complications.
  • Population control: Spaying\Neutering a kitten before it reaches sexual maturity helps prevent unwanted litters and contributes to reducing the population of homeless cats.
  • Behavioral benefits: Spaying can help prevent behaviors associated with a cat’s heat cycle, such as excessive vocalization, marking, and escaping from the home.

However, it is important to consult with a veterinarian to determine the best time to spay a kitten based on it individual health, breed, and circumstances.  We will definitely do this if the age and health conditions of a kitten allow occurring the surgery before being shipped. We will not neuter/spay the kitten in the cases if a buyer will ask to neuter a kitten on its own or will buy the breeding rights for an additional cost with the kitten)
