When i went to get my precious Bengal you could immediately tell she was a very well adjusted social cat(she wags her tail like a dog when she’s happy) With such a sweet demeanor. I was initially a little worried because she was coming from so far away, but she was one of the most well-adjusted kittens I’ve ever seen had a three hour car ride home and she literally loved every minute of it The people are great and the facility is spotless. Definitely will Get my next kitty cat from them! Highly recommend.Posted on Alexander CusickTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife and I had wonderful experience adopting our kitten Zoro! This was our first cat and the Meowoff team was very patient and helpful answering our questions. The pickup process was smooth and we were given continued support afterwards. I’d highly recommend and we couldn’t be happier, Zoro is a bundle of joy. He was litter trained, has very good manners and the friendliest cat I’ve ever seen.Posted on Omar EliwaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great brewder. Communication between everyone was really easy throughout the whole process, paid for the deposit online after I called and confirmed my kitty was still available, picked him up in person at their Chicago location, staff at the location was super nice and helpful answering any and all questions I had. Seamless process, my kitty was given a clean bill of health from my vet as expected, and immediately was comfortable when I got home with him, super playful, fun, beautiful and social kitty. 100% recommend if anyone is considering, the price was worth it for the level of service and care that was put in, along with all the info and extra goodies provided was well well worth it! We had a great experience with Meowoff. I wanted to ensure that their breeders were following healthy practices and them providing breeding family history, health documents, and the team's knowledge really helped. Our kitten is almost a year old and he has been nothing but the sweetest thing, well socialized, and just a sweetheart to everyone he encounters.Posted on Ashley nieves welshTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The British Shorthair is known for a calm, affectionate temperament and that iconic round face with a dense, plush coat. Low-to-moderate energy makes them an excellent indoor cat for apartments or houses in Connecticut. They’re quietly social – happy to follow you from room to room, then nap on the sofa like a little cloud.
British Longhair kittens share the same temperament, just with a fuller coat. Whether you prefer the classic blue or a rare golden shaded, you’ll get the same steady, teddy-bear charm.
Compact and sturdy, British Shorthairs carry a round head, chubby cheeks, and wide-set eyes that glow copper, amber, or, depending on color, blue/green. The coat is plush and crisp to the touch.
Popular colors and patterns we place in CT include:
Ask about current availability – blue, lilac, golden shaded, and silver shaded kittens often book fast, and pricing can vary by rarity and show potential.
Looking for a cat that’s good with kids or dogs? British Shorthairs tend to be patient, people-oriented, and adaptable when introduced thoughtfully. They enjoy company without being needy, and they communicate with soft chirps more often than meows. As indoor companions, they thrive on routine – window watching, gentle play sessions, and evening cuddles. Their balanced nature suits both first-time cat parents and seasoned cat lovers alike.
Set your kitten up for a long, happy life.
Offer a high-quality diet (wet and balanced dry as recommended) and fresh water daily. Follow our transition guide to avoid tummy upsets, then adjust feeding as your vet advises.
Use a soft grooming brush weekly for British Shorthairs; increase to several times a week for British Longhairs. Add a quick nail trim, and your cat stays tidy with minimal shedding.
Your kitten arrives litter trained. Provide a spacious litter box, a supportive scratching post, a carrier, and quiet spaces for naps. Enrichment toys keep this low-energy breed content.
We keep your kitten on schedule with core vaccinations (FVRCP, and rabies when due), deworming, and a vet wellness exam. It is generally considered safe to spay kittens before they are fully grown. In fact, many veterinarians recommend spaying or neutering kittens as early as 8-16 weeks old. This is known as early-age spay/neuter or pediatric spay/neuter.
Early spaying has several benefits:
However, it is important to consult with a veterinarian to determine the best time to spay a kitten based on it individual health, breed, and circumstances. We will definitely do this if the age and health conditions of a kitten allow occurring the surgery before being shipped. We will not neuter/spay the kitten in the cases if a buyer will ask to neuter a kitten on its own or will buy the breeding rights for an additional cost with the kitten)
